She has the most selfless heart in the world. From making her presence felt in the lives of her nieces to the way she looks out for her aunts to the way she cares for her father, Tia Alvarez is one of one.
The crazy part is, for as much as Tia loves the rest of her family, there is nothing that trumps the love she has for her children. Both Mikey and Tatia are super lucky to have a mother like Tia, as she is always looking out for what is best for them. She is getting them involved in all the right places and she is always stepping up for them, as so many of the groups she is part of have to deal with helping advance the kids.
“The kids are really everything to her,” Tia’s husband Michael said. “They are her whole life. Every single thing that she does is centered around their present and their future. She’s staying on top of their education. She’s making sure they are in the right school. They are both in private school.”
Mikey and Tatia are incredibly smart kids, and they are super respectful too. And while they might not wind up writing an incredible children’s book like their mom did, they take after her in so many other regards – from standing on their principles to volunteering – which will bode well for them moving forward. Tia is someone you definitely want as a role model, and Mikey and Tatia both know this.
“I admire her dedication and sacrifices that she makes for her family,” Michael said. “I love how hard she works and how involved she is in our children’s education and passions. She’s a great mother and wife.”
Tia is a role model in the way she treats her husband too. Her kids see what a strong, sound relationship and marriage looks like, and Michael hopes they take after this one day.
He also hopes they continue to take after the rest of their mother’s personality too. Tia is a great friend with a tremendous character, and she is not afraid to be herself either. She is super compassionate and has a heart of gold, and she just remains super involved in her loved ones’ lives.
“She’s very sweet,” Michael said. “She doesn’t know how to say no. She is giving, in my opinion, too much of herself. She is loving and affectionate. She makes sure to check on all her aunts every week.”
Her aunts have been like mothers to her and her nieces have been like daughters to her, and that is because of how much Tia loves. She adores her family so much, and her family adores her even more. They love her and they appreciate her, and they hope Tia feels celebrated.
“I just want her to know that she is so loved and appreciated. We don’t take her love and efforts for granted. We know that we are lucky to have her as a mother and wife.” – Michael
