A Steadfast: In the Schmidt household, the train stays on the tracks because of Ceara

Nineteen years in a relationship gives you a lot of time to reflect, and in his reflection of his high school sweetheart, Arthur has nothing but absolutely wonderful things to say about his wife, Ceara. She has been the base of his foundation throughout the years, and there has not been a single thing the two of them cannot get through together.

“She means the world to me,” Arthur said. “She is my rock and biggest champion. I would not be the person I am today or be in the position I am in without her.”

Every day, she seems to become an even greater wife and mother, which blows Arthur away considering how amazing Ceara already is in both those roles. She is Arthur and Owen’s biggest supporters and the one person they can both always count on.

Speaking of her as a mother, Ceara loves Owen with all her heart. She is a full-time mom who would do anything for him, and even at the prime age of 4, she is instilling morals and values into him. She is a great role model to him too, and whether she is turning Lightning McQueen’s righthand truck Mack into a life-size figure or making a massive balloon dinosaur to go along with her special cakes, every birthday and special occasion for Owen (and many others) is certainly made memorable by Ceara.

“She is an AMAZING mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend,” Arthur said. “It is her love she shares to each of us.”

Ceara is a completely and utterly selfless individual who puts everyone else in front of herself, and her family and friends are the beneficiaries of this fact.

As are her patients, who always feel blessed and fortunate to have Nurse Ceara taking care of them. Her level of care and compassion runs rampant whether you have been her friend for 15 years or her patient for 15 minutes, as she has a way of connecting with everyone.

“I admire her dedication, passion, and willingness to help others,” Arthur said. “It is something I strive to be myself, but she does it so effortlessly.”

So, not only is Ceara a great role model to her son, but to her husband as well. She is someone who helps bring out the best in him every day, and she is truly a saint in his life.

We cannot forget about Mister Buckeye the Pupperoni either, as Ceara is the best dog mom around too. She loves to spoil that dog and take care of him well each and every day.

Of course, in their family of three (four if you include Buckeye), there is one person who keeps it all together. The rest of the clan could not do it without Ceara, and they are so thankful for her. They also want this birthday to feel extremely special, as she makes every birthday for everyone else extremely special.

“I want her to know how much we love her and that she means so much to us (my son and I). She is the rock of our family and we couldn’t do anything without her. We want to show her all of our love and let her know how much we appreciate her, from the big things to the little things. She is our world! We love you!!” – Arthur
