Alexandria Rosas is an amazing mother who has devoted her life to bettering the lives of everyone in her family.

Her son, Randolph Moreno, compared her to the tree in the book The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein because, he said, “She would give up everything for the ones she loves.”

Not only is Alexandria a great mother, but she is also a dedicated worker who worked incredibly hard at all her jobs, including as an interpreter and as a dental office manager. Randolph is impressed that her efforts helped her purchase a house in Rialto and a “cool” Nissan 300ZX.

In her semi-retirement, Alexandria enjoys making finds at estate sales and thrifts shops, which she may use to open her own online shop. She also loves visiting her children Oregon and California, which allows her to dote on her eight grandchildren.

“Her family truly is her life,” Randolph said. “She is either with her husband of 40 years, Ernesto, or spending time with her kids. She will always be there for us and drop everything at a moment’s notice to babysit, offer a ride, or take my dog to a vet appointment 45 minutes away.”

Randolph said he will always remember going to work with his mom when he was a kid, and that she made him do karate and play baseball, which helped him grow as a person.

“I didn’t know she was teaching me how to be an adult in the world and live a life I could be proud of all these years,” he said, adding, “She taught me how to maintain a successful career, be a good son, nephew, and brother to my family, and to carry myself with class. She continues to teach me life lessons every day.”

When Randolph was young, the family used to go to swap meets in California. It was always very hot, but one time he got sick of walking and told Alexandria he could not possibly walk anymore. She told him that he was “shrinking,” which she still says whenever someone is acting demoralized.

Alexandria means everything to her son. When he needed her, she was there for him, serving as his safety net, giving him the confidence that he would do anything with her support.

However, in recent years, things have started to change and Randolph senses that she needs him now. Thanks to the excellent example she has set, he knows how to be there for her, adding that he would do anything for her.

“Mom, thank you for everything you have taught me and done for me,” Randolph said. “I know I would never be the man I am today without your love and support. I love you!”
