David “Dave” Randell Mitchell is a beloved patriarch. From him being a doting husband to a hardworking father to a loveable grandfather, there is nothing bad his children can say about him.
As a husband, Randell is the best of the best. Whether he is making his wife gifts – such as an outdoor couch from scratch – or whether he is acting as her biggest supporter, he just loves her so much, and he is not afraid to show it.
As a father, David has always been there for Monica and Kevin. He has taught them so much about how to live life the right way and how to be there for your loved ones no matter what, and they appreciate this.
“I can emulate this in my own marriage: showing patience when things get hard, just like he would’ve,” Kevin said.
Dave treats his stepdaughter Hailee well too, and that is another reason why his wife and children love him so much.
Then there is him as a grandfather, in which he is dubbed an “amazing grandparent.” He loves making memories with Kennedy and Wyatt, and everything that makes him a great husband and father makes him an exceptional grandfather.
“He is caring, generous, long-suffering, wise and active,” Kevin said.
Dave treats everyone with the utmost respect too. That is why he was such a beloved coworker during his career, and it is why he is seen as a truly amazing person.
“He’s always being supportive, always willing to listen or lend advice, loves his family dearly, and he sets a good example doing so,” Kevin said.
Dave is a role model of many sorts, and people truly do look up to him. They love his hands-on approach to life, and they also appreciate his love for the outdoors. There is no project or task too difficult for this man, and he is always looking at life with a smile.
“He is a thoughtful person, approaches home improvement bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, and exercises multiple times weekly even into his 60s,” Kevin said.
There is nothing that can slow Randell down, although fishing and camping in his free time does give him a chance to relax and unwind.
He is just an overall wonderful person and the patriarch of the Mitchell family lineage, and his family cannot imagine getting through life without David.
“His kids and grandkids love him a lot, and most of all want him to feel appreciated.”
