Brittany Combs will do anything for her family

Brittany Combs is a truly amazing wife, mom, and friend who is devoted to caring for her family.

Her husband, Anthony, said they are a blended family, and he is thankful that Brittany shows the same love and compassion to her two stepdaughters that she does to her own four biological boys.

“She loves everyone equally and would do anything for all of her children,” Anthony said. “She is also an incredible friend who once dropped everything to rush to the hospital hours away to be with her friend, Teshia, when she found out her husband had cancer.”

Brittany has a great work ethic, which has helped her run her own cleaning business. She also extends her love of helping people into her part-time job at a local Head Start.

With her free time, she enjoys reading, shopping, crafting, entertaining, playing with her dogs, and watching her beloved Philadelphia Eagles.

Anthony and Brittany met when they were both working at a call center. At first, she wasn’t interested in him, but he let her know he was attracted to her when she was in an accident at lunch and shaken up, and he took her to see a doctor.

“The rest is history,” he said. “We were dating within a week and were married within a few months. Our kids loved playing together, so everything just fit perfectly.”

They have made so many memories together, including their first date at a tattoo shop for his Eagles tattoo, their first kiss in the parking lot at work on lunch break, and spending their first night together snowed in and cut off from the world.

“We were inside our own little bubble enjoying each other’s company for hours through the night,” Anthony said with a smile.

With everything going on in her busy life, nothing means more to Brittany than her family. She nursed Anthony through multiple knee surgeries, takes care of the kids when they are sick, cheers for them at sporting events in any weather, helps them with homework and helps them with any troubles they have. She even plays Soulcalibur with them.

“She means everything to all of us, even kids who don’t fully understand yet,” Anthony said. “The kids rely on her and go to her for everything. They think their mom is smart and beautiful, but also stern when she needs to be.”

The family all want Brittany to know how they feel about her and how thankful they are that she is in their lives.

Her grandmother said, “I am so proud of the wonderful person she is.”

Mia said that she loves when Brittany brings her jewelry from somewhere; Deekan said his mom is very caring; L’shaun called her loving; Jahaven said she is so pretty; and Devontae said simply, “She’s the best.”

“I had a dream about you before we met, and you truly are my ‘Dream Girl,’” Anthony said. “Through all the ups and downs, you are the perfect person for me. You’re a gift from God, because He knew what He was doing when He placed you in my life. I love what we have built in our 14 years together. There’s no limit to US; we are infinite together.”
