Cheers to 10 years: Maurice and Valerie are celebrating a decade together, and Maurice knows there are plenty more decades ahead

It did not take Maurice Bisaccia long to realize Valerie was the one for him. That first year of dating, he could not get enough of her. He could not imagine not being in her presence, which is why he did not wait long to propose, and he is super glad every day that he did.

“She pushes me to be a better version of myself,” Maurice said. “She has my back and gives me confidence. She is my better half. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for her.”

In their four years of marriage, their relationship has only continued to grow stronger. Maurice falls more in love with Valerie each and every day, and that is because she is easy to love. Between the way she presents herself and the way she treats others, the personality Valerie possesses is unmatched.

What is also unmatched is her motherly abilities. After two years together, Maurice and Valerie had their first child, and three years later they had their second child. And ever since then, Valerie has been the mother of all mothers, always showing up for their kids and always doting on them.

“She makes sure the kids have everything they need,” Maurice said. “She is there for all their gymnastics practices. She teaches the kids from right and wrong and sets a great example for them.”

The kids look up to their mother in every way, just like Maurice looks up to his wife in every way. He appreciates all she brings to the table, and he is grateful for all the memories, from the concerts to Niagara Falls to the wedding ring in the trunk incident. She is his best friend and the true love of his life, and Maurice cannot imagine his life without Valerie.

“I appreciate the way she is able to say how she feels in any situation,” Maurice said. “She’s great at communicating about feelings. She is empathetic to friends and family. She is caring and understanding.”

The heart inside Valerie is as big as can be. That is why she prioritizes quality family time above so many other things. Valerie makes sure everyone is taken care of at all times, and she loves to love.

Her husband and children (among so many others) truly appreciate Valerie for everything she does for them. She is amazing in every sense of the word, and the core memories will only continue to get bigger and better with her.
