Devoted to Faith & Family: Kim’s husband and daughters look up to her for the wonderful woman that she is

As a stay-at-home homeschool-teaching mother, there are not many people as devoted and caring as Kim McIntosh. She cooks her family dinner every day, takes care of the laundry and cleaning, and volunteers at church… all while raising her kids full-time and not ever missing a moment with them!

As a matter of fact, her mothering prowess is one of the things that stood out to Kim’s husband, Matt, right off the bat, and it is one of the many reasons he fell in love with her after a 15-year disconnect. They met in high school but did not really interact with each other, but 15 years later Matt came across her Facebook Reels video and knew Kim was his one and only.

“I admire her selflessness,” Matt said. “Her compassion. Her thoughtfulness. Her sacrifice. She is caring. She always puts others first.”

Matt considers his wife to be in great shape, and he also just loves how beautiful and compassionate she is. Both inside and out, you can see just how much of a saint she is, and you know she is one of one.

“Everything,” Matt said regarding his favorite qualities about his wife. “Her beauty. She has a perfect smile. Her beautiful blue eyes. She is humble. She is kind. She’s selfless. She’s considerate. She’s a Christian. She’s devoted. She is caring. She’s thoughtful. She’s kind. She’s sweet. Kim makes sure everyone else is good over herself. Her self-sacrifice is amazing. She is loving and nurturing. She’s tough and honest. She’s trustworthy and has integrity.”

Matt could go on and on, and that is because why wouldn’t he? His wife is truly remarkable in every sense of the word, and she definitely has her priorities straight.

For Kim, it’s God first, kids second – along with her husband – and everyone else and everything else third. Her moral standard is second to none, and she is definitely a role model to her two daughters.

She is a role model to Matt as well, as he looks up to his wife every day. She makes him happy and brings out the best in him, and she is his pillar of support and cornerstone of encouragement.

“She always holds me accountable and to a high standard,” Matt said. “She sees my potential and pushes for me to be the best I can be.”

She has been doing that for Matt ever since their humble beginnings of Kim visiting Matt up in the mountains, and she will continue to be his moral support for many years to come.

At the end of the day, Matt, Kamiya and Morgan know they could not do it without Kim, and they are thankful for her love and support. They love that she creates memories out of spontaneous moments, and they love that she is a God-fearing, people-loving, selfless individual.
