Emily Mullens is an incredibly kind and caring wife and mother who would do anything for the people she loves.
Her husband, Denny, said she is selfless beyond words, which is just one of the things that make her an amazing mom to their daughter, Izzy.
“Emily is so good with Izzy,” he said. “Watching her grow as an incredible mother every day is one of the greatest things to see. She has made me a better man by just being herself.”
Not only does she care for her family, but Emily also pampers her customers as one of the finest hairdressers and cosmetologists in her part of Arkansas.
When she isn’t caring for others, Emily spends her free time reading and entertaining Izzy. She loves to cheer on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arkansas Razorbacks.
Emily is originally from West Helena, Arkansas, and was raised by tremendous parents, David and Suzanne Ross, whose loving guidance has helped her become a wonderful parent herself.
Denny and Emily were introduced through a mutual friend and went on their first date to Smitty’s and then to Dickson Street in Fayetteville for drinks.
“I knew she was the one shortly after she moved in with me and I got to see what true kindness and selflessness were,” Denny said.
He laughs as he remembers proposing to her at the aquarium in Tampa Bay, Florida, because when he was down on one knee, Emily didn’t realize what he was doing for a good two minutes.
They have made countless memories together and Denny lists his favorites as their trips to Jamaica and the Bahamas. He also loves travelling with Emily to numerous concerts and to Pittsburgh for Steelers games.
“Emily is the best person I know,” he said, adding that she has taught him so much with her patience, humility and kindness.
“I truly admire her patience and ability to put up with me,” Denny said, adding, “Her strength, her grace, and her stunning beauty are something to behold.”
He is thankful that Emily has shown him the many strengths he has that he never knew he possessed until she showed him. The confidence she has given him has helped to make him a better father and person.
“Emily, thank you for teaching me how to love unconditionally,” he said. “I love watching you become such an incredible mother to Izzy, while also being an incredible wife to me. You and Izzy truly are the greatest things to ever happen to me. I couldn’t imagine my life without you in it. I will love you forever.”
