‘Fierce Supporter’: Heather is more appreciated by her family than she realizes

Her beauty is stunning and she keeps herself in great shape through CrossFit. She is disciplined, kind, loving and heartfelt. She is also a plant lady who remains true to herself. 

All these things make up the one and only Heather Shelton, and yet, none of them pale in comparison to the one thing Matt admires most about the love of his life: her relationship with her sons. They are all grown up now, but they each call her almost every day looking for advice or just calling to talk to their mother. They each cherish their mom, and that has everything to do with how Heather raised them.

“She supports her family no matter what,” Matt said. “She is the rock that guides her children, who are three great young men. She gives advice and is so supportive of her inner circle of family and friends.”

Heather is someone who tends to keep a tight knit group of friends, and every single one of them knows where they stand with her. She does not pull any punches and she does not hide her emotions. She is someone who will tell you what you need to hear, and she does it in the most loving way possible.

“She’s sensitive in nature,” Matt said. “Heather wears her emotions on her sleeve. You can always see on her face what kind of mood she’s in. I am learning from someone who is more sensitive than me. I am learning about her heart and how big it is. It’s pretty awesome.”

Heather is someone who looks out for the best interest of others, and that bodes well in every facet of her life – even in the confines of her work.

As a partner and mother, this means she will support them all no matter what. She encourages them and lifts them up in times of need, and when they need someone to talk to she is right there to give the best advice.

Much of the same can be said about Heather as a friend. She is the kind of friend who you can count on – whether you need a shoulder to cry on or someone to air it all out to. She is just a big supporter and a big advocate for the people in her inner circle.

At the same time, Heather is a very hard worker. She puts her best foot forward each and every day inside and outside the courtroom, and she is a court reporter who does not take days off.

“She has a tremendous work ethic,” Matt said.

Whether she is working from the office or at home, the work ethic remains the same. On the home front, Heather makes sure everything is always in tip-top shape, and she provides a truly loving home.

And when you ask Matt, he will tell you this woman is the most amazing person he has ever met. She has such a great personality, and the way people are drawn to her and her goodness is amazing.

“She’s really attractive,” Matt said. “Her looks are stunning. There’s a lot more to her than that. Everything about her stands out.”

There is not one thing in particular that trumps the rest when it comes to Heather. While, yes, Matt was attracted to her wicked good looks, he was attracted to the woman on the inside too. Her character shines through and she is comfortable in her own skin.

“Her laugh is contagious, and she’s very kind and loving,” Matt said. “She also worries a lot about other people’s feelings. She is very in tune to making people feel good.”

At the end of the day, for Heather it is about being true to herself. She wants what is best for all those around her, and she has a way of making everyone feel loved and accepted.

For Matt, none of these things are anything new, as his significant other has always been the most kindhearted, loving, wonderful person ever, and he is grateful he is the one who gets to spend every day next to.
