“She means absolutely everything to me. Without her I wouldn’t be where I am or who I am.”
Tony Klaassen clearly loves his wife, Eva Juhan, a lot, and rightfully so. Eva is endlessly there for him and for others, and she is truly a force to be reckoned with.
“I admire her courage. Her ability to take care of so many things in our life with great ease,” Tony said. “I admire her physical beauty along with her inner beauty. How understanding she can be. Her bravery. Her kindness.”
Eva’s courage has always been on full display, from the time she was battling illness to just the everyday curveballs life throws. She does not let anything get the best of her, and she goes through each day with a sheer amount of strength and resilience.
There is also no task too tall for Eva to handle. In fact, she is a multitasker in every sense, and even in her role as a dental office manager, she could handle everything thrown her way.
Between this and everything else, Tony wants Eva to know how proud he is of her. She has been very successful in everything she has ever done, and her compassionate heart and overall zest for life is something a lot of people are drawn to.
People admire Eva for being the dog mom that she is too. Ella is her baby, and there is truly not a thing Eva would not do for her.
“She is a really good dog mom, and if we had kids, I know she would be great at that as well,” Tony said.
Eva has always been very much a family woman too. While her parents and brother are not with her in the physical realm anymore, Tony knows they are with her in spirit, as proud of her as he is of her.
Eva is also a very hands-on aunt who provides Mya with advice, encouragement and support in all aspects of her life. If there is ever anything that 19-year-old needs, she knows she has a confidante and a friend in Aunt Eva.
“She is an amazing daughter and granddaughter to my parents and grandparents, and I really appreciate that and am proud of her,” Tony said.
Eva proves that blood does not define who your family is. It is all about love, compassion and care. And the way she cares about her in-laws is something truly special.
Then again, everything about Eva is special. She is someone with a bright personality who works hard, provides for others, and is always down for a good time. She makes endless memories with her loved ones, and they all just love being in her presence.
“There was a funny time many years ago at the Stanley Park Zoo in Vancouver at the polar bear exhibit…”
That is not the only fun memory either. There was also the motorcycle trip to Alberta, the trips to Cancún and Las Vegas, Fourth of July at Birch Bay, and the final Tragically Hip concert in Vancouver. Then, there was the memory of finding out when Eva beat cancer, which is the greatest memory of all for her and Tony.
Tony always knew his wife would beat cancer, as that just served as a reminder of how resilient she truly is. She can get through anything, and with her perspective on life, she has a hard time looking at things negatively.
“She enjoys spending time with our Boston Terrier Ella and going for walks. She loves to entertain and cook,” Tony said. “Socialization with friends. Motorcycle rides and, above all, her favorite thing is to travel to sunny destinations such as Mexico. She also enjoys taking care of me.”
Talk about one outstanding woman. Eva is certainly the woman of Tony’s dreams, and he could not be prouder of her or more appreciative. He knows that a lot of people in their lives feel the same way, and he is looking forward to what is in store for their future.
“I just want her to know that she really does mean everything to me and that I really appreciate her and everything that she does for me and our little dog. And that even though I don’t have the best ways of showing it sometimes, that I really love her more than anything.” – Tony
