A year later, they tied the knot at The Westin in Lombard, Illinois. Though their outdoor wedding was rained out, the love and joy that filled the day made it nothing short of perfect.

Since then, their love has only grown, especially with the arrival of their son, Michael Anthony Shimon Jr. Krystin is a dedicated mother, always putting her son first, making sure he is happy, loved, and cared for in every way possible. Her selfless attitude, tenacity, and unwavering dedication to her family are what make her truly extraordinary.

Krystin, born in Illinois, is the daughter of Joe and Nancy Auriemma. She is also a beloved daughter-in-law to Nelson and Fran.
