“Love You More”: Marc claims his wife is quite literally to die for, and he is glad he gets to spend the rest of his life with her by his side

“What’s your name again?”

This question might make some guys realize they did not make a big enough impression on a girl. But for Marc, when Michelle asked him this question at the end of their first encounter at the bar, it became something of a running joke in their relationship. It is something that reminds them of their humble beginnings and how far they have come.

Speaking of their first encounter, it was a chance encounter at a friend’s birthday party. They got to know each other throughout the night, and they both realized there was something more to each other.

In fact, for Marc in particular, his mood always changes the instant his wife walks in the door. No matter how good or bad of a day he is having, when he sees Michelle, everything becomes moot. She brings him a sense of peace and a sense of comfort, and he feels that as long as they are together, that is all that truly matters.

That is why they always “argue” about who loves the other more. They one-up each other in words and actions, and that is because they both truly love each other more than anything.

From Marc’s perspective, there is no one better to do life with than his amazing wife. She is not only his better half, but a tremendous mother to their children. And even though some of the kids are her stepchildren by technicality, they all see her as Mom.

“She will do anything for them, and she gives them a comfort to be able to talk to her about anything,” Marc said.

Marc has two daughters and Michelle has a son, and they all just love and appreciate her more than she realizes. Michelle has stepped right into that role as a mother from day one, and she has not looked back since.

As a matter of fact, that is one of the reasons why Marc was attracted to her right from the start. He could tell that she was not only a great mother to her son, but Michelle wound up building an unbreakable bond with his two girls as well.

“Even though she is their stepmom, they know they can go to her about anything,” Marc said. “She makes them feel at ease also. They give her Mother’s Day cards.”

He said they will even send her random “I love you, Mom” texts and confide in her as well. She is always just a phone call away for all three of them, and they all take advantage of this fact.

What none of them do, however, is take for granted who Michelle is. She is the matriarch of the Coonradt household and she is beloved by all.

And whether she is working on a new project to update the house or drinking Sundrop on the daily, Michelle is irreplaceable. She can handle anything and she also brings a sense of encouragement to everyone around her, pushing her children and her husband to new heights. She is as supportive and loving as they come, and she is just a joy to be around.

She is not just the joy bringer in her own house either. Michelle loves on all the people around her, and she is known as the dog whisperer in the neighborhood. Dogs love her along with people, and anyone who has been part of Michelle’s life in any capacity appreciate what she brings to the table.

“All three of the dogs when she gets home, they jump at her,” Marc said. “She’s part of a girl group that gets together. We love being around the neighbors. Whenever I’m negative, she says it’s part of life. She gets the positive out of everything. She has embraced my Iowa roots. She loves being around my family and the things we do together. Anywhere I’m with her, that’s where I want to be.”

Marc cannot emphasize enough that it does not matter what he and Michelle are doing. While they love cheering on (or against) each other’s baseball and football teams, and while they love antiquing and going out to dinner together, they are just as happy together at home. They just want to be around each other, and for Marc in particular, there is no one he would rather spend every waking moment with.

“I love you more. She thinks she loves me more, but the appreciation and love are the same toward her. She is someone I would die for. I would feel better knowing she is better off, and I just love her so much.” – Marc
