‘My Ride or Die’: Fleche has been the one for Christopher for a long time, and he wants to remind her that he loves her with all his heart

Fleche Riley is one of one. She is strong, independent, loyal, loving, uplifting, driven, hardworking and compassionate, and most importantly, she is appreciated. She is loved by her family, and they are super thankful for all she does for them.

“Things I admire about Fleche are her unwavering support, standing by me during the good and bad times,” her husband Christopher said. “When I had nothing, she believed in me and provided support. Her kindness and empathy towards others, along with her ability to be honest and frank with others, mean you always know where you stand with her. I admire her emotional resilience and ability to handle difficult situations, her wisdom, creativity, and problem-solving skills, and her independence and can-do approach.”

Christopher is also grateful that he and his wife share similar mindsets. They have always aligned with their dreams and goals, and Christopher will tell you that is one of the main reasons why he fell in love with her in the first place.

He also fell in love with Fleche because she is easy to get along with and because she is downright amazing. She is not one to beat around the bush either, and every single one of her personality traits truly makes her stand out.

“She definitely means a lot to me,” her son Chris said. “She’s somebody who’s always been supportive and caring for me and my sister especially. She was always giving us what we needed. She provided a strong foundation. She is someone who is caring of her family in general – grandkids and extended family as well.”

As a mother, there was no one better suited to raise their children than Fleche. As a military spouse, she often was raising them by herself, and as hard as it was for Christopher to leave his wife and kids each deployment, he also had an ease of mind knowing everything was going to be taken care of just fine on the homefront.

As a mother, Fleche has also instilled a lot of morals and values into her children – morals and values they carry with them to this very day. From how to be strong-willed and follow your dreams to always being there for each other and for others, the life lessons have been countless.

“She’s a very giving person,” Takeshia said. “People that know her know she would give the shirt off her back. She’s always there with love. People tend to come to her when they need advice. Sometimes she kind of knows when something is wrong. She’s a people person. She doesn’t like to seem like she is, but she is.”

Fleche has that motherly instinct with everyone, being able to feel the room and figure out what is going on with others.

She is also the best grandmother around. Like seriously, her family cannot help but rave about how wonderful of a grandmother those four kids have.

“As a grandmother, she is known as the Spoiler-in-Chief, as it appears she will do anything for her grandkids, including breaking all the rules that our kids had to follow,” Christopher said. “But it is her wisdom, unconditional love, empathy, and generosity that she gives our grandkids that make her a great grandmother.”

Fleche is present in every way possible as a grandmother, and she instills a whole lot of important life lessons into them, just like she did their parents.

“She is a hands-on grandmother,” Takeshia said. “She loves being with her grandchildren. If it was up to her, they would be at her house all the time. They love her and being around her. She is that fun-loving grandmother. She loves making cookies; cakes.”

Takeshia is convinced one of her mom’s love languages is baking, and it is hard to argue with that.

It is also hard to argue with her assessment of her father being her mother’s BAE. Christopher and Fleche are high school sweethearts who have endured so much of life’s ups and downs together, and being together has only made them stronger… even when she is getting a good laugh at his expense.

And in all honesty, Christopher will agree with every assessment their kids had to offer when it comes to their mother. Fleche is his special someone and she has such great character, and without her the Riley clan would not be who they are today.

“My mom is one of the hardest working people I know,” Chris said. “It doesn’t matter the job she’s at. Her and Dad taught us to put our best foot forward. She’s willing to do a variety of jobs, no matter what it is, to the best of her ability.”

Talk about incredible. But then again, that’s Fleche in a nutshell. She is compassionate, loving, loyal, strong, independent, selfless, and so much more.

Fleche is also Christopher’s ride or die, her children’s day one, and her grandchildren’s favorite baker. She provides so much for everyone else that she barely has time for herself, and her family wants to recognize her for how awesome she really is.
