‘She’s a Stud’: Christie is someone who is irreplaceable in the eyes of her family, and that is because she always loves and provides

She lost a bet but won the man. This is how Christie and Ashley’s relationship started, as she owed him a first date after losing a bet, but they have been together every day since then.

“She’s my bestest best friend,” Ashley said. “She’s there when I need somebody the most.”

That beautiful smile, thick long hair, and her eyes got to Ashley right from the start, but as he got to know Christie more and more, he began to realize she was way more than just eye candy. She is a fighter and a lover, and when they first got together Christie was a single mother who championed through so much adversity. She has been through a lot, but she does not let anything bring her down.

“I love her beautiful smile and willingness to take care of her family,” Ashley said.

For Christie, there is nothing that is more important than family. Whether she and Ashley are island hopping or going to Phillies games, or whether they are going to the beach with the kids, as long as they are together, she is more than happy. All she wants to do is spend time with the people that mean the most to her, and Ashley appreciates this.

Ashley also appreciates his wife as a mother in particular. From the way she takes care of his daughter like her own to the way she is always there for her children, the bond Christie has with the kids is special.

“She just loves her children; loves being a mom,” Ashley said. “She loves buying whatnots and quirky things. She loves spending time with the grandkids. She’ll get manicures with our daughters. She likes FaceTiming with her son overseas.”

Those special moments are all times the kids and her will not get back, and they are all glad they get to spend them with Christie.

On top of being a wonderful mother, Christie has a whole lot of other great personality traits that are not overlooked. Heck, even some of the more intense traits she possesses can be seen as positive.

“She’s competitive. She hates losing or seeing her teams lose at anything,” Ashley said. “She is a fiery pistol and a bundle of love, and a crier too.”

Because Christie hates losing, she will make extra effort to ensure losses do not happen. It also means she strives for greatness and pushes her family to strive for the same. She believes in goal setting and not settling, and this has taken her far in life.

What has also taken Christie far in life is her selflessness. All she wants to do is help others and make sure they feel loved and cared for. She wants to make a difference, and the impact she makes on others is certainly always felt.

“She’s just a helper,” Ashley said. “She wants to make others happy. She goes over and beyond to make them happy and help. She’ll make that personal sacrifice in herself. She has MS, and she’ll hide that fact to make someone else feel better.”

Speaking of her MS battle, seeing the way she always pushes the pain to the side to live out her best life is something Ashley appreciates. Christie does everything she can to not give into it or let it define her, and that is certainly admirable.

“I admire her getting up and grinding even when her body doesn’t want her to… It’s fake it ‘til you make it at times,” Ashley said. “When she’s not doing well, she does what she can to hide it.”

Even just recently, Ashley’s daughter’s nurse left, so Christie tapped right in and started doing what was needed. It is certainly not always easy, but if anyone knows about adversity and getting through it, it is Christie.

Of course, she fights the good fight for the good of her family – especially her granddaughter. She wants to see her (and future grandkids) grow up, and she will be a role model to them in the process.

At the end of the day, Christie Spell is just a truly outstanding woman. She treats her family right and she is a positive force in the lives of many.
