Special Woman: Every day, Sean seems more and more amazed by his wonderful wife, Kelli

They met in college at Cal State Northridge. He dazzled her at the club with his dance moves and “debonair personality.” She dazzled him with just about every single personality trait she possesses.

This couple – Sean and Kelli Burns – is centered upon family and remaining grounded with one another. They have always been there for each other, and for Sean in particular, Kelli is just super easy to love and to get along with.

“Kelli is the best wife and mom to me and our two kids, Johnny and Maddi,” Sean said. “She works her butt off helping provide for the family and is always keeping track of everyone’s important dates and events. She plans fun family outings. She is always making us laugh and really talks to us about things going on in our lives. She is a great listener.”

She does not just talk the talk, but she walks the walk. Not a day has gone by that Sean, Johnny or Maddi have felt slighted by or loved less by Kelli. She cares about all three of them with her whole heart, and whether they are going to comedy shows or attending one of their kids’ events, or whether they are sitting at home enjoying a good meal and some TV, as long as the Burns clan is around one another, they are happy.

They also have a true role model they can look up to. Kelli is someone who leads by example, and her work ethic and her dedication to everything in life is top tier.

What is also great is her sense of selflessness. It truly cannot be overstated how much Kelli is a family woman, and how much they appreciate everything about her.

“I love that she makes me laugh and is always there to listen,” Sean said. “I love that she has such a big heart and is such a great mom.”

Kelli is a great friend too. If you need something from her, all you have to do is ring her up. While she is not just going to give you a handout, she is willing to help you with whatever it is you may need help with.

She is also a devoted director of classified personnel. She works hard to keep the integrity of her students and staff alive, just like she did as an English teacher and a principal.

“I admire her drive with what she wants to do and achieve, and how smart she is,” Sean said. “She is such an amazing person to all who know her at her job and in education.”

She is such an amazing person in general, and Sean is grateful that he is the one lucky enough to be married to her. Kelli has always been the one for him, and he will always be grateful their paths crossed.
