T.C.B. with Love: Andrea Gergely is always taking care of business in the most loving way, and her family and friends appreciate her for that

The heart Andrea has for kids is amazing. Whether she is at work helping children and families in unimaginable circumstances or whether she is at home instilling the most important life lessons into her own children, there are many kids who come first in her life. She has such a sense of compassion for them, and a lot of people admire this about her.

“She’s constantly making sure the kids have everything they need, helping with homework, projects, football, religion, soccer, robotics Lego league, chess club, art, Amelia’s gymnastics, or planning parties. She’s the heart and love of our family,” Andrea’s husband Mike said.

From her career to her home Andrea’s life revolves around kids, but they are not the only people who garner her attention. She is a family woman through and through, and she is someone whose parents have always been more than proud of.

“Andrea is my daughter and my rock,” her mom Fran said. “She’s my best friend. She is the person who keeps all our traditions and holidays going. She means the world to me.

“What I have learned from her is compassion, to keep going even when you’re overwhelmed, to not read into what people do even if it’s hurtful, and to not take things so personally. What makes her good to others is she always puts everyone first. She is kind and helpful.”

For Andrea, she is always putting others ahead of herself. She has so much care in her heart for the people around her, and she holds her loved ones near to her heart.

Speaking of which, Andrea is a special sister to her brothers. She has an older brother, Michael, and a younger brother, Joey, and both of them speak very highly of their sister. It is something that is very special to see, as sibling relationships do not always remain as strong as the ones between the Voss siblings.

“Andrea is someone that I could always count on and be completely honest with,” Michael said. “She loves her family very much and is a phenomenal cook. When we were children, Andrea would help me with math homework even though she was two grades behind me. If I had troubles at night, I could rely on her to play games with me – or to talk for a while – so I could fall asleep. She would turn the light off for me so I could stay in bed.”

Andrea has always been like a big little sister to Michael, and he really does appreciate that. He does not take the relationship they have had over the years for granted, as he knows he has the best little sister around.

Of course, one of the other things he highlights is Andrea’s smarts and accomplishments like her master’s degree and earning one of the highest positions in her field with a lot of responsibility, and that is because she has always been one of the smartest people in the room. So much of who she is can be attributed to her intelligence and amazing work ethic instilled in her by her parents.

Everyone who is a part of Andrea’s life knows she has one of the most loving personalities of anyone they have ever met. She can do anything, and she has achieved so much, and she is such a phenomenal wife and mother on top of everything else.

“What I can say about Andrea is she’s a special kind of girl,” Aunt Rosalie said. “She’s a jack-of-all-trades; she can cook; she can bake. She’s the sweetest girl there is. I love her so much and she’s great at everything she does. She’s a leader, a great mom, a great wife to her husband, a great daughter to her mother, and a special niece to me. I love her with all my heart.”

According to her husband, Andrea is always taking care of business, and that runs far past her just being the most cherished and loving family member around. She gets the kids to their activities, keeps up with all the housework, and bakes the best treats for her family. She keeps herself in great shape too, doing yoga and keeping her body, mind and soul active.

Andrea has a knack for creating special memories out of the smallest of moments in life too. She has traveled the world and has seen many things, but it is the moments around home that her loved ones cherish the most.

“One memory I’ll always have is when we were younger, and to some degree a bit older too, but mostly younger,” Joey said. “As Christmas got closer and presents from family started to appear under the tree, we would always make it a point, when no one was looking, to pick some up and ask, ‘Oh what’s in here?,’ then shake it a bit. We would always get caught, though, which was part of the fun. I get to relive that every year, which makes it a great memory to have.”

It’s the little things that are a big deal to people, and that is why Andrea’s family holds her so close to their hearts. They understand what all she does for the people she cares most about, and they know she lives her dream of having a wonderful family.

You feel an extra sense of joy when you enter the same room as Andrea Gergely, and that is not going to ever change. She is a special person with a tremendous heart and an amazing, caring personality, and she is beloved by many.

“I want her to know how much she is appreciated and loved by her family, kids, her brothers Joey and Michael, and her husband.” – Mike
