There For Others: Courtney’s heart is always beating for everyone around her, and for that they all say, “Thank You”

Courtney Wilson does it all and she is noticed and admired. She is someone who handles so much at once while making it look easy. Whether that is in her role as a social worker or in her role as a wife and mother, Courtney is looked up to all the same.

“Courtney is very well respected in her field,” her sister Ashley said. “She goes above and beyond to ensure she protects the children she works with. She’s not afraid to speak her mind if she feels something is not in the best interest of a child.”

In the field of social work, you have to really have a good head on your shoulders. You have to be prepared to embrace the unknown and do what is best for the people you represent, and this is right in Courtney’s wheelhouse. She has been a social worker since graduating from college, and she has earned the distinction of subject matter expert in the child abuse sector, showing she is always going to bat for the kids.

Her compassion for kids does not stop there either. With two sons and a stepson in the house, Courtney is always going to bat for her children too. Whether it’s in a literal sense of dealing with insurance or whether she is advocating for their best interests at school, she is a mama bear who always steps up to the plate.

“She makes sure all the kids have everything they need and more,” her husband Scott said. “She makes sure everything is going well and taken care of for school, gets them to all the sporting events she can, and she has taken care of everything for the youngest with his autism, from dozens of doctors’ appointments, therapy appointments, medicine, dealing with the state, his schooling, developing and keeping him on a routine, and keeping him safe around the house. She has also treated the oldest as her own.”

Scott emphasized the fact that they have provided the boys with amazing childhoods filled with memories and proper learning, and a lot of that has to do with Courtney. He loves the fact that she is a role model to them, as well as someone they will be able to look back fondly of as they grow older.

“Courtney is a truly incredible mom and stepmom in so many ways,” her friend Amanda said. “She never misses a game, and even when she can’t be there in person, she’s still listening and cheering them on. She pours endless love and patience into her boys. She shows up for them every single day and puts their needs and happiness above everything. They’re so lucky to have her.”

In a world full of selfish people, Courtney stands out. She is completely and utterly selfless and makes countless sacrifices for her boys–and many others–and the fact she gives so much of herself for the good of others is just one of the many countless things people learn from her.

“Courtney has taught us how to be a more patient mom,” Amanda said. “She has also taught us to be more fun, loving and spontaneous.”

Courtney certainly knows how to make the most out of life too. She spends a lot of time advocating for others, but that does not mean she does not take some time to enjoy herself, albeit most of her down time she spends with the people she loves.

She does enjoy shopping and decorating the house, and she keeps up with the latest design trends too. She loves to make herself, her husband, and her sons look fashionable, and she is all about presentability.

Courtney loves spending time with her dogs as well, and she treats them so well. She has a special bond and relationship with them, and you would think they were humans by the way she speaks about them.

Her overall personality is a special one, as her heart just looms so large. Courtney is constantly putting herself last, but at the same time she has a certain attitude that people love to see come out of her.

“She’s got a huge heart and loves helping people. She can also be a little fiery at times,” Scott said. “I love that she is always decorating for whatever holiday is coming up and our house is always so cozy and inviting. She manages absolutely everything with our autistic son and makes sure he has every medication and therapy available, and he has completely thrived because of her. All while working multiple jobs.”

Yeah, so on top of her being a phenomenal wife, mom, daughter, sister friend and social worker, Courtney is an online therapist as well. She truly does love helping people any chance she gets, and there are a lot of reasons why people admire her so much.

Scott, of course, is one of these people, and he is just grateful that their lives crossed paths at work. He always thought so highly of her and still does, and she is the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. After things finally worked out for them to get together, they have not looked back since, and even the people around them notice how right for one another Courtney and Scott are.

“Courtney and Scott have really grown as a couple and are more in sync now than ever,” Ashley said. “It’s very apparent they have become each other’s family.”

Family is not only what you are born into but what you build, and these two have certainly built quite the amazing blended family.

Courtney has also built for herself quite the friend group who appreciates her and cannot imagine their lives without her. She is many people’s ride or die, and that speaks volumes to her amazingness.

“Courtney is a sincere and loyal friend,” Amanda said. “She is always there and willing to help. She goes the extra mile for everyone she loves and cares for. She’s the kind of friend who helps you through both good and bad days. She is one of a kind!”

Ashley has also kept a tight-knit relationship with her sister, and Courtney is like the friend who is tied by blood.

“Courtney is the best sister I could ask for,” Ashley said. “We obviously have our sibling arguments and can drive each other crazy at times. But I wouldn’t change one thing about her. She’s my closest family member and the most dependable person I’ve had in my life. I’m lucky to have Courtney and honestly don’t know where I would be without her today.”

It seems as though a lot of people share this same sentiment about Courtney. They all talk about her compassionate heart, as well as her loyalty and reliability. She is there for everyone and she is loved by many, and there is a reason why Courtney deserves to be celebrated every day.

“I think, first and foremost, I want her to know how much she is loved and how truly appreciated she is. It doesn’t get said enough, but all the little things she does don’t go unnoticed, and we would never survive, and certainly not thrive, if it wasn’t for her and all that she gives to me and to us.” – Scott
