The amount of love and appreciation Keira and Nathan Albert have for their parents truly cannot be encapsulated in words. They know that they would not be where they are today without them, and they are beyond grateful to call Holly and Jeff Mom and Dad.
Both Reading, PA, natives, Jeff and Holly are two of the most loving individuals you will ever meet. They are dedicated to family – particularly their children Keira and Nathan – and they are devoted to each other. The sheer love they have for one another is a sight to behold, and they are role models to their kids in every sense.
“Both of them are really kind and genuine, but they’re also funny,” Keira said. “I love to spend time with them, especially now that I’m at college and don’t get to see them as much. Just being around them is something that I’ve learned to value and appreciate even more as I’ve gotten older. I don’t take them for granted because they provide so much for me. They never fail to make me feel loved and appreciated.”
As you get older, you tend to garner more fondness of your parents, and in Keira and Nathan’s cases, this is no different. Their parents are two people that, as you get to know more, you want to spend more time with. Between their loyalty and their compassion, they are always going to have their loved one’s backs.
And what makes them even better as a couple is the fact that Jeff and Holly complement each other well. Both big sports fans (Jeff’s a big Penn State and Steelers fan, while Holly loves her Phillies) and family time enthusiasts, they have their individual interests as well. Jeff loves working on cars – especially his Chevy C10 – and Holly loves reading, cooking, baking and crafting.
“They’re the best!”
“My parents mean the world to me and my brother, and we’re very lucky to have them,” Keira said. “I don’t know who I would be without them. They’ve given me so much, and I’m so grateful to have two supportive, loving parents by my side throughout every big moment in my life so far.”
There is no doubt that Jeff and Holly are always there. They lift up those around them, and they are constantly encouraging each other and their kids. They also work hard to provide the best lives possible for Keira and Nathan, and that is not something either of them take for granted.
“My parents are both devoted to being the absolute best parents they can be to me and my brother,” Keira said. “Every day, they put our needs first to ensure that we are given the best opportunities possible. They’ve raised us to be strong, kindhearted people, and I wouldn’t be who I am without them. They support me through everything, as well as my brother, and encourage us every day to be the best versions of ourselves.”
Their parents give them purpose and reason, and that is something they carry with them every day.
What Keira and Nathan also carry with them every day are the memories they have made as a family. Some of them include:
Trips to Disney, where they ride the rides and walk around the parks.
Camping weekends during the summer and fall to different places.
Keira staying up late making s’mores with Jeff during their camping trips.
Holly taking Keira to see Hamilton on Broadway for her 18th birthday.
Watching games at Citizens Bank Park.
Jeff scalding Keira’s legs (accidentally) with hot coffee at the beach.
Holly sending Nathan to school in boxers that weren’t shorts.
Of course, there are plenty more memories that have been made in the Albert family (both good and bad), and that just goes to show how tight knit they really are. No matter what happens, they all stick together, and the endless love is always there.
“I love them both a lot, and I appreciate everything that they have done and will continue to do for me. I’m so lucky to have them; they’re truly the best.” – Keira
