Dawn Sean is a loving, kindhearted wife and mom who does everything she can for her family.
She and her husband, Erik, have six children, three daughters from Dawn’s first marriage and Erik’s two daughters and a son. They have all come together to form a wonderful family.
“Dawn would do anything for the kids,” Erik said. “She offers emotional and financial support, whatever they need.”
Not only is Dawn incredibly giving, she is also the hardest working person Erik knows. She works multiple 12-hour shifts every week caring for patients and literally saving lives as an emergency room nurse.
With what little free time she has, Dawn loves planting and taking care of her flowers and mothering the family’s two cats, Pickle and Napkin. Erik said Dawn is also an amazing cook, but that is not the only thing she does in her kitchen.
“She is such a big romantic,” Erik said with a smile. “We hung a sign that says, ‘In this kitchen we dance,’ and we love dancing together there all the time.”
Dawn also loves sports, and Erik travels a lot for his work in radio and television sports broadcasting. They use those trips to have adventures together and make memories like visiting the beach.
One memory that sticks with Erik is when Dawn fell down in a Casey’s parking lot in Murray, Kentucky. They couldn’t stop laughing, and they still laugh about it when they remember that day.
The couple met on a dating app and had their first date at Outback Steakhouse during a work trip for Erik when he was broadcasting college basketball.
“We knew during our first date that we were meant for each other,” Erik said. “Our first conversation was on the phone, and it went terrifically, but the date was even better. Our chemistry has always been amazing. We truly believe we are soulmates.”
After dating, they had an intimate wedding, which was a quiet little ceremony under a gazebo with two of their friends as witnesses.
Erik said he is thankful that Dawn is there for him and their family, always putting his and the kids’ needs above her own.
“She is always helpful with everything, and she constantly encourages and supports me,” Erik said. “Dawn, I truly appreciate how hard you work for our family. I am a better man because you have my back no matter what. I light up when I see your amazing smile and I still feel electricity when we touch. Thank you for being in my life. I will love you forever.”
