Emily Ferrey graduating from the University of Arizona in 2023

Emily Ferrey just accomplished something she should be proud of for the rest of her life: she graduated from college.

After starting at the University of Arizona back in 2019, all her hard work and dedication has paid off. All the countless hours and sleepless nights have finally paid dividends. Emily is a college graduate, and that is a feat her family is super proud of.

Emily graduated from Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the school of Social and Behavioral Sciences, which fits her personality well. She has a way of connecting with people and loving them, and while she might not always show emotions toward them, she genuinely cares.

She has also taken many strides throughout her college career, and it is something that has been noticed by her family.

“The maturity level from high school through college was just leaps and bounds,” Emily’s father Paul said. “She learned how to be independent. Her independence and doing things by herself are amazing. From making her own meals to doing her own laundry to managing her own schedule.”

Of course, Emily also learned how to live on her own, and this is something that will really help prepare her for this next stage of life. She is going to be traveling to the western hemisphere with some friends for three weeks before returning home to job search.

However, if the way her family talks about her is any indicator, it will not take Emily long to find a job in her field.

“I admire her go-getter attitude and the tenacity she has,” Paul said. “I also admire her hardworking attitude. She’s willing to put in the hard work to achieve the results. She has a very outgoing personality and makes friends very easily. She sets a goal and attains it.”

Her hard work showed time and again with her honors and her grades. Emily did not just skid by, and this is something that she should be proud of.

She should also be proud of the overall amazing person that she is. She is not only a college graduate now, but she is someone who treats people well and who has such great character.

“She’s very strong-willed, so she will be successful in whatever she does,” Paul said. “She has a don’t give up attitude. She will continue pursuing things for herself. She will use each thing as a steppingstone for the next thing.”

Emily is never going to settle for anything, and she will continue to work hard to prove this. When she lands a job in her field, she is not going to stay at the bottom of the totem pole for long. She will work her way up with ease, and she is always going to achieve the next best thing.

There are infinite reasons as to why her family is proud of her, and on this graduation day she deserves to be celebrated for all her accomplishments and achievements. Emily has done great, and she will continue to do so.

“From the first born into a new millennium in 2000, we knew she was going to be a special girl. Watching her grow from baby to teenager to young adult has been nothing but a pleasure and gift. She has brought all of us nothing but joy and some life experiences as a parent we’ll never forget. We now see her develop into a fine young woman that will be nothing short of successful in life. PROUD.” – Paul

Congrats Grad! - Emily
