In 25 years of being married to his loving wife Michelle, Jason has learned a lot from her.

He has learned how to love, how to laugh and how to be a better parent. On top of that, she has helped him grow in his faith, and they have a way of keeping God at the center of their marriage.

Michelle is a little more reserved, but she makes up for it with her bold personality.

Not only that, but she is a wonderful mother to her and Jason’s three children, and she is as God-fearing a woman as you will ever meet. She sets the example and has strong morals and values, and Jason will tell you the past 25 years have been the best 25 years of his life.

“She is quiet, loves her family and loves Jesus,” he said. “Michelle is always there for her children and husband, plus she’s smart. I love her smile. She keeps our home up to date. She likes to go on trips. She also is happy with just staying home watching TV.”

No matter what it is they are doing, as long as Jason is with his wife, he is in his happy place.

If you ask him if there was a specific moment in his life where he realized she was the one, Jason said he just kind of knew. It was a gut feeling he had early on when they were dating, and after 25 years of marriage that feeling has not gone away. Jason cannot imagine a world where he is not married to Michelle Coker, and thankfully he does not have to.

“She’s always put the family first,” Jason said. “Michelle does everything for us without getting the thank you she deserves. She’s never asked for anything for herself. She is a great example of what a mom should be. And she is a great role model for our two girls.”

Michelle is a great role model who Brayden looks up to as well, but for Vanessa and Whitney in particular, they both see their mother as a strong, independent woman. They strive to be like her, and Jason can do nothing but sit back and be proud of that.

He also likes to sit back and reminisce on all the memories he has made with his wife for as long as they have known each other. From the moment they first met they have made memories together, and he is beyond grateful for this fact.

“When I asked her to be my girlfriend,” he said. “When she kissed me first. Getting lost on the interstate. When I asked her if she wanted to go into the Diamond store ‘just to look.’ Our wedding day. The day we brought each one of our kids home, having no clue what we were doing. Getting through our first round of senior year… it was way harder than I thought it would be. Buying our first house and her making it a home.”

This has all been made possible by the truly tremendous woman that is Michelle Coker. She has so much to offer, and her heart is so full of love.

Michelle is completely devoted, and Jason is too. He cannot wait to see what the rest of their lives has to offer, and he is in it to the end with his soulmate.

“It’s been 25 years. I can’t believe how far we have come. From a two-bedroom rental to buying our second house. Me being able to provide enough for you to stay home with our three kids. It has not always been easy, but there is no one I would want to go through life with. You are my world. I love you more in year 25. I can’t wait to see the next 25 years. I am looking forward to getting our house back to just us.” – Jason
