‘Partner in Crime’: Marietta is Matt’s better half who was actually the one who pursued him first

Marietta was very straightforward about liking Matt when she first saw him at T.J.’s Sports Bar back in 1991, and that is a testament to both their relationship and Marietta as a whole.

When it comes to Marietta, she wants what she wants, and she goes for it. She was a hardworking dental hygienist before she and Matt had kids, and even when it came to having kids, she made it known she wanted to be a mother above all things.

When it comes to Marietta’s relationship with Matt, you can tell just how much he means to her, and how much she means to him. She brings out the best in him each and every day, and she loves being married to him.

“She is my best friend,” Matt said. “It’s just easy with her. I can be me and she can be her true self. I couldn’t imagine life without her.”

Marietta is way more than just a pretty face to look at, but the woman who makes Matt want to be there for others and for her. She has such a sweet, outgoing personality, and it is something Matt is drawn to each and every day.

He is also drawn to her aforementioned good looks. She is a sight for sore eyes, and along with that outward beauty comes inward beauty. And her faith in God.

“She’s a timeless beauty,” Matt said. “She has crystal blue eyes and luxurious blonde hair, but it’s her heart for God and others that is her greatest quality. I admire her willingness to help others. She has been taking care of my father’s extensive health needs for several years, and she does it with grace and humility.”

For Marietta, helping others is what she is all about. She loves being there for the people who mean the most to her, and she does not shy away from being that reliable friend to others.

She also does not shy away from being a protective mama bear for John and Will. She homeschooled them both while instilling important morals and values into them, and while also running a homeschool group she made sure to get them involved in, GRACE.

“Nothing could separate her from her boys and caring for them,” Matt said. “She quit her job and was a full-time mom”

Obviously, nothing can separate Marietta from her love for God either. It is a huge part of who she is, and she will tell you her Lord and Savior is the only one who comes before her family.

Speaking of family, they love eating pizza, watching TV and going on road trips, but most importantly, the Pitchetts just love doing anything and everything with their matriarch, Marietta.
