When Chris, Aaron and Samantha think of their mother, Cindy, they think of all the good times they have shared together. Whether it was Cindy being their number one cheerleader at all their events or whether she is having drunken excursions in the Walmart bakery, she has made countless memories for her family to reflect upon.
And yet, the memories are truly just a small part of the reason why her children love and appreciate her as much as they do. They also love her personality, as she is so selfless and has always made sacrifices for the three of them.
“She is one of the most loving and caring people on this earth,” Chris said. “She cares about her family more than anyone I know and she always puts their needs before her own.”
Cindy has always been this way. She is an Ohio-born woman with a love for family, and as a mother in particular, she is truly the best in the eyes of her children.
“She has been a great mother because she has always put the needs of her children in front of her own needs,” Samantha said.
The sacrifices Cindy has made have been endless. From the days of her running them around to their different activities and helping them with their homework, to being someone they still look to for advice and can call at a moment’s notice, Cindy is one of one.
“She is the type of mother who sticks up for her children, even when it is hard to,” Chris said. “She is a mother who will not even think twice about forgiving their children, even when they have done something stupid or terrible. She loves her kids and would die before letting one of them feel an ounce of pain. She is funny, loving and great to spend time with.”
Naturally, all three of Cindy’s children have messed up more than a few times in their lives. It is part of the human element, but what is not part of the natural human element is to be as forgiving as Cindy. She is someone who always gave her kids the benefit of the doubt – but don’t get us wrong, there was always discipline and life lessons that came with their actions.
On the flip side, Cindy is someone her kids always tried to impress, and she is also someone they have always loved hanging out with. She makes life fun and enjoyable for everyone – especially her family – and she is truly a joy to have around.
“I admire how caring and devoted to her family she is,” Chris said.
No matter how you put it, so much of who Cindy is has to do with her love for family. They are truly her everything, and they always have been. The relationship she had with her parents growing up was something else, and her kids always loved seeing the way their mom interacted with their grandparents.
Cindy is a great dog mom on top of everything else. Bella gets spoiled every day, and the amount of love that is shone on her is something that she appreciates in her own way.
Then, there are the two grandbabies, both of whom Cindy loves to spoil. They are her entire world now, and she would do anything for them. If their parents need a break or just help in general, Cindy is willing to step right in there and be a doting grandmother.
“She loves spending time with her family and she really enjoys seeing her grandchildren,” Aaron said.
Those two are going to grow up knowing where to place their priorities, and that has so much to do with who their grandmother is. The way she acts around them and the way she shows up for them is completely irreplaceable.
What is also irreplaceable is the love she has always had for all of her family, especially her children. All three of them recognize all the sacrifices Cindy made for them over the years, and they truly do appreciate her.
“Thank you, Mom, for all that you do. You mean the world to me,” Chris said. “You have always been my biggest supporter and I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you for making me who I am today!”
Thanks to Cindy, her children are amazing adults (and some parents) in their own right. That can all be attested to who raised them and who made sure she was always present in their lives.
“I want to let you know that you are an amazing mother who has been there for the great times, but also, more importantly, the most tragic. You were there for all of your children when they broke their bones or sliced their knees open. You were the arms that I fell into when the worst day of my life happened. I came to you because I knew that you would know what to do for me in my time of need.” – Chris
