Everyone who knows Charlene Crooks speaks highly of her. They appreciate everything she has to offer, and they are grateful to have her in their life.
Her husband Danny, however, probably appreciates his wife a little bit extra. She is the love of his life and the one person he cannot imagine living without.
From the first time he saw her after opening the door at a friend’s house to the first time she hugged him, Danny knew early on this woman was who he was meant to be with. She took a chance flying out to Alberta to experience the western lifestyle, and she took a chance on him to see if there was anything between them. Danny could tell Charlene was a woman with a lot of great qualities, and all those qualities stand true to this day.
“She is loving, caring, selfless, hardworking, super smart and funny,” Danny said.
In Danny’s eyes, Charlene is an angel. She has wicked good looks and a great smile, and she cherishes other people.
Charlene works as a registered nurse, and she is currently working toward becoming a nurse practitioner. She balances work, school and raising two sons, and Danny does not understand how she does it all.
She also previously worked as a veterinary technician, as she also loves animals. Whether it’s a dog, cat or anything in between, Charlene has a heart for it.
As a mother, Charlene’s heart is as widespread as it gets. She is a mama bear who is constantly looking out for and protecting both Colton (12) and Logan (9). There is not a thing she would not do for them, and Danny loves to watch her in action.
“She is super caring and giving,” he said. “Charlene devotes all her spare time to them and raising them to be good human beings. She demonstrates right from wrong by example.”
Charlene’s hard work and dedication is something put on display daily, and it helps her be a wonderful role model to her boys.
She is a role model to the rest of her family as well, as her parents, brother and sister-in-law all mean the world to her.
Of course, Charlene is a phenomenal wife to Danny as well. He feels honored to call her that each and every day, and he is truly grateful for the woman she is.
“I admire her devotion to her family the most,” Danny said. “I also admire her work ethic and her demonstration of true friendship.”
Charlene is truly there for others when no one else is, and that is astonishing. She cares so much and has so much compassion in her heart, and everyone in her life feels blessed.
Danny, Colton and Logan in particular are extra blessed by Charlene’s presence day in and day out, and they love her with all their hearts.

Our kids have the most amazing, loving mother and the best influence in their lives they could possibly have.
