Not all love stories are the same.

For Scott and Lesley Glover, their love story started with a phone call to set up a hair appointment. Now, a couple decades and two kids later, they are living the happiest life possible.

“She means everything,” Scott said. “She has helped me become the man I am today. No one ever raised my curiosity by calling, but that’s exactly what she did when she made that phone call all those years ago.”

Lesley is someone who is always looking out for others. She is also selfless, hardworking, strong and loving.

She sees the silver lining in everything, and she is constantly giving people the benefit of the doubt. She is the most understanding and forgiving person Scott has ever known, and anyone who knows Lesley is better off because of it.

“I have learned how to be more sensitive, more compassionate and more understanding from my wife,” Scott said. “I’ve learned to look at both sides of things and not always see the bad. She has helped me see the potential in people, and she is a very, very special person. I am very fortunate.”

Not many people are as optimistic about others as Lesley is, and this is just one of the many things Scott admires about his wife.

He also admires how loving of a mother Lesley is. He knows that he is blessed to have raised kids with her, and he knows that her kids are lucky to have such a wonderful mother to support them in everything they do. They can always count on Lesley to be there for them, and they can always rely on them even as they grow older.

“No one or nothing comes before the kids,” Scott said. “I would be blessed and honored to have a mom like her, much like with my mom. She is just so tentative and loving. She will give the shirt off her back. She also does everything to keep me satisfied.”

On top of always taking care of her husband and kids, Lesley finds time to take care of everyone else all around her. She is strong-willed and unafraid to be objective and tell you how it is. She is well respected by everyone, and Scott wants Lesley to know that she is appreciated.

She is also very skilled at everything she does, and her classical music abilities are so amazing that she can lull you to sleep with one song.

Lesley can do anything she puts her mind to, and she leaves no doubt in Scott’s mind each and every day that he made the right decision to marry her. Lesley has helped Scott grow as a father and as a man, and he has a newfound self-worth because of her. Lesley is just the best there is.

“Mom, you are the greatest mom we could ever want. When we are feeling down, you lift us up. You are caring, intelligent, kind, special, patient and strong. You help us to understand the greater things in life, you bring out the best in us and we are truly grateful to have you in our life. We love you mom and hope you have a Blessed Birthday! Sincerely, your kids, Amber, CJ and Darion.”

“We are all honored to have you in our lives,” Scott said. “As your husband, you complete me. I could not and would not be where I am today without you in my life. I am truly honored to have you as my soulmate ‘till death do us part.’”
