How long does the process take?

Our goal is to write your story within 7-10 days of when we receive your information. We also offer “deadline delivery” that guarantees your story will be written in 7 days or less.

I chose the phone interview option. How should I prepare for it?

If you choose the phone interview, all you have to do is click on the Calendly link sent to you via email, provide us with your phone number and pick a time, and we will call you at your chosen time! Each interview is tailored to asking questions specific to your story subject, and it is meant to be stress free!

To prepare for an interview, think about their best qualities, your favorite memories with them, and anything else you think will be important for the story.

What is the FrontPage design add-on?

The prices for the FrontPage Basic ($49.99), FrontPage Plus ($99.99) and FrontPage Deluxe ($149.99) story packages are for the time that goes into a writer’s preparation, interviews, writing and editing. The front-page add-on pays for a designer to turn your story into the front-page product.

Do I have any say over the final product?

YES! You are the final boss and editor of your story. After the story is written, it is shared with you to read and suggest changes. You are welcome to make any changes you please from the wording of the story itself to the quotes you provided. The end goal is to write a story that is as close to perfect as possible. Be thoughtful in your changes, though, as you only get one chance at making your changes to the story.

How will my product be delivered to me?

The end product is a high-resolution JPEG designed at 13x19 inches and 300 dpi (unless you did not order the Newspaper Design add-on, in which case your story will come as a word document with the opportunity to have it published on our website as well). We also offering printing and framing services for your convenience.

How do I print the high-resolution JPEG?

Check for the nearest photo printing service such as Staples, Office Max or FedEx Office. You’re looking for a 13x19-inch print. Specialty printers should also have the capability of printing at that size.

What is your refund policy?

Because of the personal nature of our stories, we do not offer refunds. You will typically hear from us within a 24-48 hour window (unless it's the weekend or holiday), so if you do not hear back by then, please check your spam and feel free to use our contact form on the website to follow up if necessary.
