Amazing mom and wife keeps family faith-focused

Deidre Hilger is a hardworking mom, stepmom and wife who provides for her family and guides them at home and in life.

“She is always looking out for everyone and without her life would be a challenge,” her husband, Adam, said. 

Adam said Deidre is an amazing mother to her daughter, Lily, from a pervious marriage, her three stepdaughters, Kylie, Ava, Elise, and Vail, the daughter the couple have together. 

Deidre keeps all the girls and Adam on track by helping them stay faith-focused and working on the most important priorities. 

“I can’t thank her enough for being such a loving, caring mother to her stepdaughters,” Adam said. “The girls are very lucky to have such an amazing woman as their stepmom.”

Deidre has a remarkable work ethic that has led to her being recently being promoted to a VP at SAP, where she manages seven people and supports large scale SAP partners for a special line of business that supports business processes.

The couple met over eight years ago, and they immediately connected on family and personal interests, and as Adam said, “we couldn’t spend enough time with each other.”

Adam smiles as he remembers Deidre dancing across the dance floor when he proposed at the Grand Traverse Resort in Michigan. The couple were married and blended their families together and have been happy ever since. 

The pair enjoy attending concerts (Motley Crue if they can), watching standup comedy, going to Bowdies Chophouse, exercising together, going on walks and bike rides in the summer. They also travel to warm climates, including Mexico, Marco Island and Hawaii.

They also like going to Atlanta Braves games, but twice they have left early and missed miracle comebacks, Adam said with a laugh.

Deidre is a very spiritual Catholic, whose faith in God has led her to be the woman she is today. Adam said her unwavering faith guides him to strengthen his relationship with God. 

She has been through a lot in her life but has never given up, Adam said, adding, “Her work ethic and positive attitude inspires me every day to try to be a better person.”

Deidre is devoted to her family, providing them with support and everything they need to live a blessed life. 

“I am incredibly lucky to have Deidre in my life,” Adam said. “She is beautiful inside and out. I love the way she loves me. We are definitely soul mates.” 

“She is the most beautiful and generous woman I have ever met,” Adam said, “She is the best mom and wife, and I can’t imagine life without her. I will love her forever.”
